NO ONE JUST
WATCHES.

STREET ANIMATION

The whole Festival is the show.

All around the grounds, all night long.

The Fábrica Assombrada grounds at night, full of visitors among lights and stalls.

At Fábrica Assombrada – Festival de Terror, the show doesn't only happen inside the experiences. The whole grounds are alive and, at any moment, you may run into something — or someone — that definitely wasn't in your plans.

Throughout the night, creatures, spirits, monsters and other characters will roam freely around the Festival, surprising and interacting with visitors. Some will want to scare you, others to tease you, challenge you, entertain you or simply get you that photo moment you'll want to keep.

The programme comes alive in several parts of the grounds, with bands and live music, dance groups, themed performances, flash mobs, roving animation, street challenges and a grand parade, turning the streets of the Fábrica into a true Halloween spectacle. Between scheduled performances and unexpected happenings, you never know when the next moment will start — or whether you'll end up being part of it.

There will also be room for the Exposição de Terror and different photo moments and themed photobooths, where you can step into the sets, interact with characters and take home a souvenir of the night.

Between games, passages and experiences, there will always be something going on: music, dance, challenges, scares, characters, photography, interaction with the audience and lots and lots of terrifying madness.

Because at Fábrica Assombrada, the whole Festival is the show — and no one just watches.

AlmaDa Street BandPresence confirmed

Even the monsters will want to dance!

AlmaDa Street Band is confirmed for the Festival de Terror and is coming to get everyone moving!

Created in 2015 by musician Bruno Mil, this musical entertainment project was born to bring a relaxed, fun party to the streets. Inspired by the “Pep Bands” of American universities and high schools, the band mixes ska, funk and pop in a light, varied, high-energy repertoire!

The name combines its origins in Almada with “Alma da Street” (the soul of the street), because the streets are where they make the party. And this time, the party happens among the hauntings of our Fábrica!

Get ready to dance, sing and have fun… between one scare and the next!

STREET ANIMATION

Cia MalatitschConfirmed appearance

Fire, instinct and mythological imagery arrive at the Festival de Terror.

Malatitsch are confirmed at our Festival de Terror, with art and street animation performances that promise to awaken your senses.

Cia Malatitsch is a performing arts company that blends contemporary circus, physical theatre and mythological imagery to create vibrant, deeply symbolic shows. Drawing on archaic and mythological figures, the collective builds characters that seem to emerge from an ancient dream. Creatures that confront us with what society tries to forget: instinct, ritual, creative chaos.

Through a fusion of acrobatics, fire manipulation, masks and live music, Cia Malatitsch invokes the body as a vehicle of memory and transformation. Its mythological characters dance between ecstasy and revolt, working as archetypes in motion, bringing to the stage the conflicts between human and nature, control and freedom, the rational and the instinctive.

In an increasingly sanitised, digital and restrained world, their shows are contemporary rituals that challenge the audience to feel, remember and let go.

At the Fábrica, even the street comes alive.

We Can DanceDancing at the Festival

Terror has rhythm. And We Can Dance are going to get the Fábrica moving.

On 30 and 31 October, We Can Dance join the Festival de Terror to bring energy, attitude and Hip Hop to a spine-chilling night.

Formed in Montijo in 2005, they have won national and international podiums and show that dance can also transform realities.

Coordinated by Igor Lima and trained by teacher Rafael Lourenço, they take their art from the stage to schools through the Realidades Dançadas project, raising young people's awareness of society's problems. Along the way they have also had partnerships such as the one with the Portuguese Basketball Federation.

Now, their next challenge is to make a factory full of hauntings dance.

If you see someone moving strangely… it might be Hip Hop. It might be a possession. When in doubt, follow the rhythm.
